OHS Training for Schools and Colleges
Interactive 1-day workshops provide an overview of new and/or recent developments with the Victorian OHS legislation and review the role, powers and rights of HSRs. Courses with a number of different themes are offered: Work-Related Violence, Work-Related Stress, Work-Related Gendered violence (including sexual harassment) and Plant.
Whilst primarily designed for Health & Safety Representatives, managers, supervisors, Health and Safety Committee members - and indeed anyone with an interest in workplace health and safety - also will benefit from attending the programs.

Course Fee: $385.00 (+GST) per person* (Includes: comprehensive colour Workbook & catering with coffee/tea and a light lunch)

Trainers: All of our trainers are highly experienced and well regarded in Health and Safety Industry, have well over 20 - 30 years experience in OHS training, consulting, auditing and risk assessment field.
Course Objective: WorkSafe Victoria encourages all HSRs to attend OHS Refresher training annually. The course provides HSRs with information to strengthen the knowledge gained from an initial course, and a general update on legislation. Deputy HSRs also have an entitlement to this training. Section 67 of the Vic OHS Act provides for HSRs (and Deputy HSRs) to choose their course in consultation with their employer. (Please note: WSV require each participant to complete their own enrolment form.)
Certificate: Attendance at all sessions is required in order to be awarded a Certificate of Attendance. (As the course is not competency based, there is no formal assessment.)
