HSR REFRESHER OHS TRAINING COURSES
for Schools & Colleges
A NEW 1-day Refresher course for HSRs - and others

This interactive 1-day workshop provides an overview of new and/or recent developments with the Victorian OHS legislation and reviews the role, powers and rights of  HSRs.
OSHA is approved by WorkSafe Victoria to conduct this course.

The course discusses the new theme of HSRs being involved in managing work-related stress.

Whilst primarily designed for Health & Safety Representatives, managers, supervisors, Health and Safety Committee members - and indeed anyone with an interest in workplace health and safety  - also will benefit from attending the program.

Course fees are discounted for participants from schools, colleges and other organisations in the Victorian education system.

NOTE - DUE TO DET CANCELLING ALL P.D. SESSIONS, THE COURSE FOR MARCH 24 IS CANCELLED.  WE CAN STILL TAKE TENTATIVE BOOKINGS FOR TERM 2 (APRIL 21, MAY 5 & JUNE 9), SUBJECT TO LATER CONFIRMATION.

WSV encourages all HSRs to attend OHS Refresher training annually.  Deputy HSRs also have an entitlement to this training. Section 67 of the Vic OHS Act provides for HSRs (and Deputy HSRs) to choose their course in consultation with their employer.  (Please note: WSV require each participant should complete the enrolment form.)
Attendance at all sessions is required in order to be awarded a Certificate of Attendance. (As the course is not competency based, there is no formal assessment.)
Note: HSRs are entitled - and expected - to attend a 'Health & Safety Representative INITIAL OHS Training Course' .
